The U.S. Embassy warns of a significant missile attack on November 20
The U.S. Embassy in Kyiv alerts about a substantial missile strike scheduled for November 20, citing "specific information received."
This warning has been posted on the agency's website.
Citizens are advised to be prepared to take cover immediately in the event of an air raid alert.
"For safety reasons, the Embassy will be closed, and staff members are receiving instructions for sheltering in place. The U.S. Embassy advises American citizens to be ready to find shelter promptly if an air raid alert is declared," the statement reads.
