A resident of Mykolaiv discovered a combat grenade while searching for "stash" drugs.

The incident was reported in the verdict of the Leninsky District Court of Mykolaiv.

In December 2024, the accused and a friend were looking for drugs in a wooded area near a canine training center. Armed with knives, they began to dig into the ground in search of stashes. During this process, the man came across an F-1 combat grenade and decided to take it.

Later, noticing suspicious behavior, police approached for a check. During the conversation, the men admitted they were searching for drugs, and one mentioned the grenade in his bag. Following this, an investigative team was called. Upon searching, the grenade was confiscated and sent for examination.

The man fully acknowledged his guilt and promised not to break the law again. The court took into account his lack of prior convictions and imposed a sentence without actual imprisonment.
