On January 30, the enemy struck one of the ten-story residential buildings in Sumy. As a result of the attack, 9 apartments and 12 balconies were reportedly damaged.
According to the State Emergency Service, 4 people were rescued, including 1 child, and 118 individuals were evacuated.
Unfortunately, rescuers have already recovered the bodies of two individuals (a man and a woman) from the rubble.
Preliminary reports indicate that 9 people were injured, including one child. Emergency and search operations are ongoing.
At the scene, rescuers quickly set up a mobile invincibility point. Psychologists and medical personnel from the State Emergency Service are on-site. Two canine units have been deployed. Comprehensive assistance is being provided to the citizens. Special equipment is in operation for high-altitude work.
