There could have been no war: Trump revealed what Biden and Zelensky did wrong
U.S. President Donald Trump stated that Russia could have been "easily discouraged" from attacking Ukraine, but his predecessor Joe Biden and Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky said "the wrong things."
He made this remark in an interview with Fox News political commentator Brian Kilmeade.
"Yes, Russia attacked, Russia invaded, but they had no reason to do so. You could have discouraged him [Russian President Vladimir Putin]. He had no grounds for an attack," — explained the American president.
Donald Trump reiterated his belief that this war should never have occurred if the right approach had been taken in discussions with the Russian president.
“Every time I say that Russia is not to blame, I am always attacked by fake news. But I tell you, Biden said the wrong things. Zelensky said the wrong things... But Russia could have been so easily discouraged. This should have never turned into a war. And all these dead people should not have perished, and all these cities should not have been destroyed," – emphasized the U.S. president.
