On Thursday, November 28, the municipal enterprise "Mykolaivelectrotrans" is preparing to deploy trolleybuses with autonomous operation for evening work transportation, capable of traveling up to 20 kilometers after being charged from alternative energy sources.

This information was reported by the company's press service.

The trolleybuses will operate in the following directions:

st. "Mykolaiv-Cargo" - m/n Severny: 17:10, 17:30, 17:50, 18:20 (4 trolleybuses will operate);

Pushkinskoye ring - m/n Namyv: 17:00, 17:20, 17:40, 18:00, 18:30 (5 trolleybuses will operate);

Pushkinskoye ring – Victory Square: 17:00, 17:20, 17:45, 18:05, 18:30 / from Victory Square: 16:50, 17:15, 17:35 (5 trolleybuses will operate).

The director of "Mykolaivelectrotrans," Yuriy Smetana, stated that the company's team is currently focusing on maximizing the use of trolleybuses with autonomous operation up to 20 kilometers.

"Today, we are testing the operation of trolleybuses charged from alternative energy sources for the first time. We hope to extend evening work transportation even under such challenging conditions," Yuriy Smetana said.
