On Tuesday, January 28, a woman reported to the police station No. 3 of the Voznesensky district that last autumn, a group of girls inflicted bodily harm on her daughter.

This was reported by the communication department of the Nikolaev region police.

According to the complainant, she recently learned about the incident from a teacher who found a relevant video on the phone of one of the students.

During the initial measures, the police established that the incident occurred in September of last year in Yuzhnoukrainsk due to personal animosity among the teenagers. Three girls, aged 14 and 16, known to each other, struck the 14-year-old victim on the head multiple times in a local park in the presence of other teenagers.

“At that time, neither witnesses of the incident nor the parents of the victim reported the criminal actions to the police,” – noted the police.

Currently, the police have identified three participants in the conflict and initiated a pre-trial investigation. Other witnesses of the incident are also being identified.

In connection with this fact, investigators have started a pre-trial investigation under part 2 of Article 127 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine "Torture".

The pre-trial investigation is ongoing.
