In central Mykolaiv, a drunk driver crashed a Mitsubishi into a Renault, injuring a woman.

On the evening of Friday, November 1, a Mitsubishi Outlander crashed into a parked Renault Sandero on Sadovaya Street in Mykolaiv.

This was reported by a correspondent from "Novosti-N."

According to eyewitnesses of the incident, the "Mitsubishi" was traveling along Sadovaya Street, coming from Potemkinskaya Street, heading towards Chkalov Street. The driver following the "Mitsubishi" stated that the manner of driving indicated the driver was in an inadequate state — the vehicle was swerving from side to side.

Immediately after the intersection with Central Avenue, the "Mitsubishi" altered its path and crashed into the parked "Renault." After that, the car changed direction again, this time veering onto the boulevard section of Sadovaya and colliding with a bench.

As a result of the accident, a woman — the driver of the "Renault," who was sitting in her car at the time of the collision — was injured.

The driver of the "Mitsubishi" was extricated from the vehicle with difficulty. He appeared to be in a state of severe alcohol intoxication. All attempts by the police to communicate with him were unsuccessful. Eventually, he could barely provide his last name and first name.

The injured woman was taken from the scene by an ambulance.
