In Pervomaisk, back in May of last year, three underage girls assaulted a 12-year-old schoolgirl on the head in front of other children while recording the incident on camera.

The video footage was discovered by an inspector from the educational safety service while conducting preventive work with participants in the educational process at one of the educational institutions in Pervomaisk, as reported by the communication department of the Mykolaiv region police.

Law enforcement officials determined that the assault stemmed from personal animosity among the teenagers. Three girls, aged 14, 15, and 16, repeatedly struck the head and body of the 12-year-old victim on the street in the presence of a group of peers. At that time, neither the witnesses of the incident nor the victim's parents had reported the unlawful actions to the police.

“Police identified all participants in the conflict and initiated a pre-trial investigation. In this case, investigators have begun a pre-trial investigation under Part 2 of Article 127 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine 'Torture.' The sanctions of this article provide for imprisonment of five to ten years,” the statement said.
