An ambulance overturned in the Mykolaiv region, resulting in two individuals sustaining injuries.

On the evening of Sunday, January 12, near the turn to the village of Nikolaevskoye in the Shevchenkivska community of the Nikolaev region, a collision occurred between a GAZ-3206 vehicle and an ambulance based on a UAZ-452.

This information was reported by the Main Department of the State Emergency Service of Ukraine in the Nikolaev region.

As a result of the impact, the ambulance overturned. Upon arrival, the 16th State Fire and Rescue Unit determined that two men were trapped in the UAZ due to the mangled structural elements of the vehicle.

Using battery-powered rescue tools, the rescuers freed the victims. They were subsequently hospitalized in a medical facility.

A total of 4 emergency service personnel and 1 special vehicle were involved in the operation. The causes and circumstances of the incident are being investigated by law enforcement officials.
