Searches are being conducted among doctors in Mykolaiv over bribery cases involving draft evaders
Starting Monday, February 17, law enforcement officials in Mykolaiv are conducting searches of doctors mentioned in the investigation regarding evasion of military service.
According to sources within the law enforcement agencies who spoke to “Novosti-N,” this involves the recent detention of an employee from the Territorial Center for Recruitment and Social Support (TCK) and a police officer who, in exchange for bribes, assisted conscripts in evading mobilization into the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
As part of the investigation, searches were carried out at the head of the Military Medical Commission (VLC) of two district territorial recruitment centers.
Additionally, similar investigative actions were taken against the deputy chief physician of the city hospital. Following the searches, the deputy chief physician of city hospital No. 1 M was detained under Article 208 of the Criminal Procedure Code of Ukraine.
