Construction Controversy Halted in Mykolaiv

In August and September of this year, the construction of a retail pavilion at 142/15 Kosmonavtiv Street gained significant attention from the public and media. This situation was marked by the illegal cutting down of green spaces, leading to outrage among the local community and public organizations.

This information was reported by the press service of the Mykolaiv City Council.

Despite a ban on conducting inspections under martial law, the State Architectural and Construction Control Department of the city council received approval from the Ministry of Communities and Territories Development of Ukraine and carried out an inspection to ensure compliance of the construction works with the current legislation of Ukraine.

During the inspection, it was determined that construction of a capital structure is underway at the specified address, particularly the laying of the foundation and installation of a metal frame. The contractor is LLC "PREMIX".
According to urban planning legislation, such construction works require the appropriate permits. However, data from official State registries indicate that the contractor has not submitted any documents for this project.

As a result of the inspection, the State Architectural and Construction Control Department mandated LLC "PREMIX" to immediately cease construction and provided two months to obtain the necessary permits for carrying out construction works.

Additionally, due to the violation identified, LLC "PREMIX" was fined 109,008 UAH, which is required to be paid to the budget of the Mykolaiv territorial community.
