In 2025, repairs are scheduled for the crossings near the zoo and People's Garden in Mykolaiv.

The head of "Mykolaiv Electric Transport," Yuriy Smetana, shared the company's plans for 2025.

He made this announcement during a briefing that took place on Friday, February 22.

As part of the ongoing projects, the renovation on 1st Military Street is set to be completed, along with the upgrade of the intersection at Marko Kropivnytsky Street (Potemkinska Street), which is located near the People's Garden park. Additionally, improvements to the crossing near the zoo are also planned.

- I would describe our plans for 2025 as ambitious. First and foremost, we aim to finish the renovation on 1st Military Street - from Kotelna Street to Stolyarna Street. This includes the intersection where Marko Kropivnytsky Street ends next to the People's Garden park. This year, we plan to fully complete the landscaping work at this intersection. The crossing near the zoo is also quite inconvenient for vehicles and public transport; we intend to renovate it as well. It will be level with the road surface, and the rail and sleeper grid will be completely replaced, along with the restoration of the road surface, - said Yuriy Smetana.

The head of the enterprise noted that more than 25 million hryvnias will be required to purchase materials for these renovation works. He emphasized that to save funds, they, whenever possible, refrain from hiring contractors. The renovation work is carried out by the company's employees.
