Attack in Mykolaiv: Media report details about the teenage terrorists
Four children suspected of involvement in the attack in Mykolaiv attend the same school. The minors have been detained and may face imprisonment.
According to "Suspilne" citing several anonymous sources, all four teenagers are residents of the same community. They live in nearby settlements and are high school students at the local lyceum.
The parents of two of them are connected to the defense of Ukraine. Everyone who managed to speak anonymously with journalists describes the detainees positively, noting that they were just ordinary children.
“No one can believe this. We would never have thought that this could happen to them,” anonymous sources told “Suspilne.”
A video has also been posted on social media, which, according to the caption, captures the moment of yesterday's explosion near a café in Mykolaiv.
Four teenagers from the Poltava region, aged between 14 and 17, are suspected of involvement in terrorist activities. They were detained by the SBU and police.
The detainees are in custody and have been charged under part 2 of article 28 and part 3 of article 258 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine — a terrorist act committed by prior conspiracy that resulted in loss of life. They face a sentence of 10 to 15 years in prison or life imprisonment.
