Three cars and a trolleybus were involved in a major accident on the avenue in Mykolaiv.

On the evening of Monday, January 20th, two accidents occurred at the same intersection on Mira Avenue in Mykolaiv, involving a Hyundai Santa Fe, a BMW, a Škoda, and a trolleybus.

A correspondent from "Novosti-N" was present at the scene.

According to the press service of the Patrol Police of Mykolaiv region, the Hyundai Santa Fe was traveling along Mira Avenue from the Victory Square towards Yuzhnaya Street. At the intersection with Theater Street (Vaslyaeva), the driver attempted to turn left towards Bohoyavlensky Avenue without yielding to the oncoming BMW that was going straight. After the collision, the Hyundai was pushed into a stationary Škoda at the intersection. The BMW then veered onto the sidewalk, knocking down a traffic light and crashing into a metal fence.

The three vehicles located in the middle of the intersection significantly complicated traffic flow. At that moment, a trolleybus was traveling along Mira Avenue, and its driver tried to maneuver around the accident but ended up hitting the Hyundai, resulting in yet another collision.

Preliminary reports indicate that there are no injuries from the accident. However, the vehicles sustained considerable mechanical damage.

Traffic is severely hindered.
