Trump's advisor urged Ukraine to "go all in" - lower the conscription age
Future national security advisor to Donald Trump, Congressman Mike Waltz, believes that Ukraine should lower the conscription age to attract hundreds of thousands of new soldiers and stabilize the front line.
This was reported by UP.
"Another thing we need to see is real stabilization on the battlefield. And one of the things we will be asking from the Ukrainians is the issue of manpower.
Currently, they are conscripting from the age of 26 (actually from 25 - ed.), not from 18. I think many people do not understand that they can attract hundreds of thousands of new troops.
We hear about moral issues, about problems at the front. Listen, if the Ukrainians are asking everyone to go all in for democracy (risk everything - ed.), they need to go all in for democracy too."
According to Waltz, lowering the conscription age is necessary to stabilize the front line, so that a certain agreement can be reached.
