The street lighting networks in Mykolaiv were written off "into oblivion": why — nobody knows
The street lighting networks in Mykolaiv have been without a balance holder since 2013 — the reason for their write-off remains unknown.
This information came to light during the session of the Mykolaiv City Council on October 30.
As explained by the Deputy Director of the Housing and Communal Services Igor Nabatov, in 1992, the networks were under the balance of the enterprise "Horsvet". From 1998 to 2001, there was a process of merging "Horsvet" and the utility company "GDMБ", resulting in the latter existing today. However, in 2013, the networks were written off for an amount of 11 million.
- The external networks remained in communal ownership but lacked a balance holder. We cannot documentarily explain why this happened, - Nabatov stated.
As a result, the deputies were proposed to vote on a decision to conduct an inventory and take the street lighting networks onto the balance of the utility company "GDMБ".
