Mayor of Mykolaiv, Oleksandr Senkevich, has called on the city's residents to prepare for a challenging winter.

He announced this in his video address published on his Telegram channel.
He acknowledged the dissatisfaction among citizens due to the city being without electricity for over a day.

— I understand your emotions, especially since I have open comments and I read everything you write. But our enemy is one – it's Russia. It is because of them that we currently have no light. I believe this won't be the last such attack, so prepare yourselves: a tough winter lies ahead. We have endured even more serious hardships by supporting one another. Help those in need: bring water to those living on the upper floors who find it difficult to climb, support your neighbors.
