Christmas star, goat, and Malanka: a festive nativity scene is traveling around Mykolaiv (photos)
On Wednesday, December 25, a festive trolleybus with carolers is circulating through Mykolaiv to bring some light, warmth, and good cheer to the residents.
This is reported by the press service of the Mykolaiv City Council.
The first stop where the nativity scene made an appearance was Soborna Square.

Before the citizens of Mykolaiv, the military orchestra of the 406th Separate Artillery Brigade named after General Horunzhy Oleksiy Almazov of the Naval Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine performed, along with students from the Mykolaiv Professional College of Culture and Arts.

The carolers sang traditional ritual songs, led the goat, and Malanka broke into a lively dance.

The celebration was organized by KP “Mykolaivelectrotrans” together with the military orchestra of the 406th artillery brigade.

The Mayor of Mykolaiv, Oleksandr Senkevych, presented a thank-you note to the orchestra and festive bread and gifts to all the carolers.
“Today began with a nativity scene at Soborna Square. In these tough times, I truly hope that these holidays will uplift the spirits of Mykolaiv residents. However, we must also remember those who are defending our country and are in very difficult conditions, as well as those who are missing or held captive,” - said the mayor.
Oleksandr Senkevych congratulated the citizens on the holidays, wishing them good health, inspiration, love, and peace.

The festive trolleybus continued its journey. Throughout the day, it will circulate around the city.
