The prosecutor explained why the head of the Mykolaiv Medical-Social Expert Commission has not yet been informed of any suspicions against them.

The head of the medical and social expert commission in the Mykolaiv region, who was found with half a million dollars, has not yet been declared a suspect, as the investigative actions are still ongoing.

This was stated by the acting head of the Mykolaiv regional prosecutor's office, Denis Falchenko, as reported by “Ukrinform”.

According to him, in order to announce a suspicion, it is necessary to have appropriate grounds, gather evidence, and determine the validity and legality of the charges. Falchenko also noted that the investigation in this case is being conducted by the SBU.

“To bring forward a suspicion, one needs to have appropriate grounds, gather evidence, and clarify the validity and legality of the charges. The SBU is conducting the investigation in this case, while the procedural oversight is being carried out by the Specialized Prosecutor's Office in the defense sector,” Falchenko said.

During the searches, over 450 thousand dollars and a collection of jewelry were discovered belonging to the suspect.
