Ukrainian fencer Kharlan named the best athlete in Ukraine
The Association of Sports Journalists has recognized fencer Olga Kharlan as the greatest Ukrainian athlete of all time. This information was reported on the official website of the ASJU.
Kharlan won a gold medal in team events and a bronze in individual competitions at the Olympic Games in Paris. These achievements have made her the most decorated Ukrainian athlete in Olympic history, with a total of six medals.
More than 100 members of the Association participated in the voting.
