2 hours on - 4 hours off: Mykolaiv shares approximate schedule for power outages
In the Mykolaiv region, the energy sector has brought the energy system to a relative balance and has gained the technical capability to simultaneously restore a maximum of two queues.
This is reported by Mykolaivoblenergo.
“The situation in the networks remains complex. Through titanic efforts, energy workers are managing to keep the energy system at least in relative balance. Currently, there is a technical possibility to simultaneously restore a maximum of two queues. This means that all consumers in the region, including residents of Mykolaiv and Bashtanka, will be disconnected according to an estimated schedule of 2 hours with power/4 hours without (if possible, according to the 'green hours' assigned to each queue of the GPO in the current decade),” the message states.
It is noted that this is a forced and temporary measure to stabilize the situation. After the full functionality of the equipment is restored, they expect to return to a more moderate and familiar hourly outage schedule.
“This is a challenging test not only for the energy system but for all of us! We thank our consumers for their economical use of electricity and understanding of the situation. We urge you, when you have power, not to turn on energy-intensive appliances simultaneously – this is important! And this depends on each of us. We are holding the 'energy front',” the energy workers ask.
