Zelensky stated that he admires Trump's tactics for ending the war

President Vladimir Zelensky commented on the intentions of American leader Donald Trump to end the war as soon as possible.

This statement was made during an interview with Italian journalist Cecilia Sali for the newspaper Il Foglio.

He noted that Trump sends a "strong man's signal" when he openly expresses his desire to end the war.

"We do not know all the details yet, and I think President Trump himself does not know all the details either. It all depends on what kind of fair peace we can achieve and whether Putin actually wants to end the war. In my opinion, he does not," Zelensky said.

According to the president, Trump understands the situation and "simply states that it needs to be finished because it will get worse."

"And he says it will get worse with a message directed at Russia. It seems to me that this is a tactic that I admire today," he concluded.
