Zelensky reported the number of Ukrainian military casualties and injuries
During the full-scale war with Russia, 45,100 Ukrainian soldiers lost their lives, while 390,000 sustained injuries.
This was stated by Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky in an interview with British journalist Piers Morgan.
At the same time, the president mentioned that the actual number of injured Ukrainian soldiers is lower, as the statistics include those who were injured but later returned to the battlefield and sustained further injuries.
"45,100 people have died. And we have around 390,000 cases of injuries..." - he stated.
Zelensky also highlighted the number of missing Ukrainians and those who have been captured.
"There are thousands of people missing. Truly thousands. How many of them are actually missing and how many are prisoners, I do not know at this time," - he added.
However, efforts are currently underway to determine the exact number of prisoners of war.
