The Ukrainian Armed Forces struck the Engels-2 airbase again, destroying fuel tanks intended for the Tu-160 bombers.

The Ukrainian Armed Forces have struck the "Engels-2" airbase for the second time: fuel tanks for the Tu-160 have been destroyed.

The Ukrainian defense forces have once again targeted the infrastructure of the Russian military airbase "Engels-2". This base houses the Tu-95MS and Tu-160 aircraft of the 22nd Heavy Bomber Aviation Division of the Russian Federation.

According to preliminary data, as a result of the strike, there was another fire at the "Kristall" fuel depot, where tanks containing aviation fuel for the Tu-160 bombers ignited. These aircraft are used by Russia to conduct terror against the civilian population of Ukraine.

The military noted that a multi-day comprehensive operation aimed at reducing the capabilities of the enemy's strategic aviation has been completed.

"We are doing everything possible to ensure that the firefighting teams in Engels, who just extinguished the flames after the previous strike, do not find themselves without work amid the increasingly difficult economic situation in Russia," the statement said.
