In Ukraine, clergy have been granted exemption from mobilization

The Cabinet of Ministers has authorized the exemption of clergy from mobilization without any limitations on the number or salary requirements, equating them with owners of critical enterprises and diplomatic personnel.

The relevant amendments were made to the Cabinet's resolution No. 76.

The changes to resolution No. 76 also pertain to religious organizations recognized as critical to the economy. These organizations are not required to confirm a minimum salary of 20,000 UAH for their employees. The restriction on exempting no more than half of the staff has also been lifted for clergy and specialists in the prosthetic and orthopedic field.
