In the center of Mykolaiv, a Hyundai struck a 6-year-old girl at a crosswalk; she was taken to the hospital by ambulance.

On Friday, December 27, during the day, on Vadim Blagovestny Street (Nikolaevskaya) in Nikolaev, a Hyundai Elantra struck a 6-year-old girl who was crossing the street with her parents at a pedestrian crossing.

This was reported by a correspondent from "Novosti-N" at the scene.

The driver of the Hyundai was traveling on Vadim Blagovestny Street, coming from Sadovaya Street towards Arkasovskaya Street (Pushkinskaya). Before reaching the intersection with Sobornaya Street, the vehicle hit the 6-year-old girl, who was crossing the road at an unregulated pedestrian crossing with her parents.

As a result of the accident, the girl sustained injuries and was taken along with her mother to the regional children's hospital by ambulance.

It is noteworthy that the Hyundai was traveling in the far left lane. A vehicle in the middle lane stopped to allow pedestrians to cross; however, the girl driving the Hyundai ignored the stop of the car on her right and continued driving, which led to the collision with the pedestrian.
