Yesterday, a video message from the men was posted on TikTok, recorded by one of them.

The video’s author stated that military commissioners detained seven individuals and are holding them in the TCK gym. According to him, the men were twice attempted to be sent to the front lines, but they unanimously refused.

"Everyone has health issues, everyone has some problems. Starting today, January 2, we declare a hunger strike. I ask everyone to share this video across all social networks. We are in Izmail at the Izmail TCK, in the gym. We have already been attempted to be taken to the front twice, and we all refused. We are being threatened with criminal charges," — said the man.

"They are threatening us with criminal charges, article 336, which could lead to three to five years in prison. But they won't break us," — added another detainee.
