In the Domanevka community, Danish partners have constructed social housing, with two houses completed and six more in preparation for construction.
This was reported by the head of the Mykolaiv Regional Military Administration, Vitaliy Kim.
The project has been implemented with the assistance of the GAUFonden and Ramboll foundations and with support from the Embassy of Denmark in Ukraine.
“This housing is intended for medical professionals, police officers, individuals without their own homes, or those who have relocated to the community from other localities. A total of 25 such houses are planned to be built in Mykolaiv region.
These houses are of very high quality, and the results are excellent. Locals have already dubbed the neighborhood with the new houses as ‘Little Copenhagen,’” Kim stated on social media.
He also added that since the beginning of the full-scale invasion, Mykolaiv has received aid from the Kingdom of Denmark amounting to €151 million.
