On Friday, February 14, a report was received on the emergency hotline 101 regarding a residential building on fire in Mykolaiv.

This information was reported by the Main Department of the State Emergency Service in Mykolaiv region.

An unit from the 4th state fire and rescue service and the on-duty shift of the operational coordination center of the Main Department were dispatched to the scene.

During reconnaissance in one of the rooms, firefighters discovered the body of a deceased man born in 1962.

The rescuers extinguished the fire over an area of 20 square meters.

The causes and circumstances of the fire and the man's death are under investigation.
