In Mykolaiv, firefighters rescued a woman from a burning house

On Thursday, February 13, several fires broke out in the private sector of Mykolaiv, one of which resulted in a woman being injured.

This information was reported by the State Emergency Service of Mykolaiv region.

Yesterday, units of the Main Department of the State Emergency Service of Ukraine in Mykolaiv region were called out 10 times to extinguish fires occurring in the area.

Among these incidents, there were four fires in residential areas. During one of the fires in Mykolaiv, firefighters rescued a woman born in 1948, who was subsequently hospitalized with a preliminary diagnosis of carbon monoxide poisoning.

Additionally, a car caught fire yesterday. In the evening, rescuers were informed that a VAZ 2103 car was burning in the courtyard between residential blocks in Mykolaiv. The fire was quickly extinguished by the duty crew of the 4th Fire and Rescue Unit over an area of 5 square meters, with the preliminary cause being a short circuit in the electrical network.

There were also five instances of dry grass burning, including reeds due to intentional arson. The total area of the fires was approximately 3 hectares. These incidents occurred in Mykolaiv as well as in the Mykolaiv region - in the village of Viktorivka of the Domanivka community in the Voznesensk district and in the village of Syrovo of the Vradievka community in the Pervomaisk district.
