In the evening of January 8, a fire signal was received by emergency services at 101 regarding a blaze in a nine-story building.

This information was reported by a correspondent from “Novosti-N.”

The alert came from the nine-story residential building located at 85 Igor Bedzaya Street (Chkalova).

The caller reported a distinct smell of burning in the stairwell, emanating from the ninth floor. A specialized fire truck and aerial ladder arrived at the scene. After a thorough inspection, the firefighters found no signs of fire and departed. Two minutes later, a patrol police crew arrived, also heading to the same entrance.

What exactly the firefighters discovered and why the police arrived is still unknown.
