A house in Mykolaiv caught fire, resulting in the death of a man.

On the evening of February 24, a report of a fire in an apartment on Hrazhdans'ka Street in Mykolaiv was received by the emergency services. The statement indicated that a person might be inside.

This was reported by the Main Department of the State Emergency Service in Mykolaiv region.

A duty crew from the 3rd State Fire and Rescue Unit and an operational shift from the coordination center of the Main Department of the State Emergency Service of Ukraine in Mykolaiv region were dispatched to the scene.

Upon arrival, the firefighters discovered a man born in 1941 in a room, showing no signs of life.

The fire, which covered an area of 7 square meters, was promptly extinguished by the rescuers. The causes of the fire are being investigated.
