On December 27, a resident of the village of Koblevo contacted the police, reporting that an unknown object had been thrown into her yard, which then exploded. The blast damaged the wall of her house, but fortunately, no one was injured.
This was reported by the communication department of the Nikolaev region police.
Officers discovered debris and a detonator at the scene, which were sent for examination.
During the investigation, it was revealed that a 43-year-old man from the Kharkiv region was involved. Law enforcement tracked his movements and gathered evidence. On December 29, the suspect was arrested on the highway near Kryvyi Rih while driving from Odessa to Kyiv.
During a search, police found a vehicle, mobile phones, and SIM cards, which were also seized.
The man has been charged with hooliganism (Article 296, Part 4 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine). He faces up to seven years in prison.
Currently, investigators are preparing for court, where a decision will be made regarding the detention of the suspect. The investigation is ongoing.
