The State Enterprise "Forests of Ukraine" will investigate why their forester did not notice the sand quarry near Mykolaiv for two years.

The Mykolaiv branch of the State Enterprise "Forests of Ukraine" will conduct an internal review concerning the forester who failed to notice the illegal sand quarry in the forest near Mykolaiv for two years.

A video of the conversation with a company representative was published by public activist Dmytro Ryabchenko from the Mykolaiv region.

When asked if a forester was assigned to the forest in the village of Mykhailo-Laryno, he received a positive response. The representative of the State Enterprise also mentioned that the reasons for the forester's failure to notice the sand poachers operating in his area of responsibility for two years will be clarified during the internal investigation.
