The head of the Main Intelligence Directorate, Kyrylo Budanov, stated that Russia has launched a massive disinformation program in Ukraine to counter mobilization efforts.

He shared this information in an interview with “Ukrinform.”

According to Kyrylo Budanov, Russia is disseminating information online about conflicts with TCC to undermine mobilization.

The extensive disinformation program they have initiated aims to counter mobilization efforts. Let's acknowledge that the program is functioning effectively and is influencing the mindset of our population. However, we must return to the roots of this issue. This is a special information operation. It's clear that there is a problem, but they are amplifying it. In reality, one or two sharp incidents occur somewhere each week. Yet, when you look online, it creates the impression that this happens every day at least a hundred times. This is an example of a professional special information operation aimed at influencing perception, - Budanov explained.

Earlier, the Commissioner of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine for Human Rights, Dmytro Lubinets, commented on the issue of human rights violations by TCC and SP employees.
