Construction of a new water pipeline in Mykolaiv has commenced, with contractors already on site, according to Kim.

Contractors who have signed agreements for the construction of a new water supply system in Mykolaiv have already begun their work.

This was stated by the head of the Mykolaiv Regional State Administration, Vitaliy Kim, during an interview on "Novini.LIVE."

According to him, contracts have been signed with three contractors in total.

-We expect the cost to be reduced to around 6 billion due to process optimization (currently it stands at 8 billion, - ed.). Experts from Denmark, who are among the best in water-related issues, have been involved in this.

Kim also mentioned that the president has instructed to expedite the construction of the water supply system — the project is being implemented under the program "Design-Build" adopted by the Cabinet of Ministers.

-The plan is to complete it by the end of summer 2025. The equipment has been deployed and is already in operation, - said Kim.
