The Central Election Commission has recognized Inna Sviriba as the elected people's deputy of Ukraine from the "Servant of the People" party.
This was announced by the CEC press service on February 27.
It is noted that the CEC received a resolution from the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine regarding the early termination of the powers of people's deputy Irina Kormyshkina.
“The CEC reviewed the document and recognized Inna Sviriba, the next candidate in line included in the electoral list of the 'Servant of the People' party under No. 148, as the elected people's deputy of Ukraine in the specified elections,” – the statement reads.
Irina Kormyshkina was elected in the extraordinary parliamentary elections on July 21, 2019, in the nationwide multi-mandate electoral district from the political party "Servant of the People".
Recall that on February 21 of this year, it became known that deputy Irina Kormyshkina decided to resign her mandate amid a scandal involving possible illegal enrichment.
On February 25, the Verkhovna Rada supported the termination of the powers of deputy Kormyshkina.
In October of last year, NABU and SAP reported suspicions against deputy Kormyshkina for illegal enrichment. According to the investigation, in 2021-2022, she acquired assets worth over 20 million UAH that exceed her official income and savings for that period.
Previously, the Anti-Corruption Court did not allow deputy Kormyshkina to travel abroad.
