Details have emerged about the morning attack on Kyiv and Zaporizhzhia (photos included).

Early in the morning on Saturday, January 18, the Russian army struck Kyiv and Zaporizhzhia, with details of the aftermath now emerging.

This information is reported by the Main Department of the State Emergency Service of Ukraine in Kyiv, as well as by the head of the Kyiv City Military Administration, Timur Tkachenkо, and the head of the Zaporizhzhia Regional State Administration, Ivan Fedorov.

In Kyiv:

In the early hours, the enemy once again launched a massive shelling of the capital. In the Shevchenkivskyi district, a fire involving three vehicles was extinguished. Ten vehicles sustained damage.

There is also partial destruction of an administrative building, a business center, and a store. A main water pipeline has been damaged. A fire was discovered in one of the buildings, which has already been localized.

Currently, 84 rescuers and 22 units of main and special firefighting equipment are working at the scene.

“Unfortunately, there are already four fatalities in the Shevchenkivskyi district, and three injured.
In the Holosiivskyi district, debris has been reported falling, preliminarily without fire,” wrote the head of the Kyiv City Military Administration, Timur Tkachenkо, on his social media page on Telegram.

In Zaporizhzhia:

The head of the Zaporizhzhia Regional State Administration, Ivan Fedorov, reported that the enemy struck an infrastructure facility. According to preliminary information, there are injured individuals:

“Two people were wounded as a result of the enemy attack on Zaporizhzhia.

The enemy hit the center of the regional capital.

Part of the administrative building of one of the industrial facilities has been destroyed…

Residential houses and private vehicles have been damaged.

The number of injured as a result of the enemy strike in Zaporizhzhia has increased to six.

One woman is in serious condition. Two other women and three men are in moderate condition. All are receiving medical care in the hospital.

Five ambulance crews are working at the impact sites,” the report stated.
