In the Mykolaiv region, three residents of the Pervomaisk district were exposed for obstructing mobilization by publishing the locations and movement routes of law enforcement officials and representatives of the Territorial Recruitment Centers in Viber and Telegram channels.

This was reported by the Security Service of Ukraine in the Mykolaiv region.

The individuals involved include two drivers from municipal and private enterprises and one unemployed woman.

As clarified by the Mykolaiv regional prosecutor's office, the suspects, aged 29 and 37, shared information about activities conducted by staff from territorial recruitment and social support centers in the Pervomaisk district via a Telegram channel and a Viber group during August and September 2024.

According to the case materials, during their travels around the city of Pervomaisk, the perpetrators recorded the locations and movement routes of law enforcement officials and representatives of the Territorial Recruitment Center.

Subsequently, they "leaked" all the information in real-time within popular messaging app chats, providing additional clarifications for the participants. These resources were in demand among men wishing to evade military service.

During sanctioned searches, law enforcement officers discovered and seized mobile phones from the offenders with incriminating evidence.

Based on the collected evidence, investigators from the Security Service informed the three individuals of their suspicion under Part 1 of Article 114-1 (obstruction of lawful activities of the Armed Forces of Ukraine and other military formations during a special period) of the Criminal Code of Ukraine.

The pre-trial investigation is ongoing. They face up to eight years of imprisonment.

Law enforcement is checking for possible involvement of other participants in these online communities in the illegal activities.
