Russians have reduced the number of drone attacks on Ukraine: what is the reason?
In December, for the first time since spring 2024, Russians decreased the number of drone attacks on Ukraine, primarily due to the depletion of enemy stockpiles.
This was reported during the broadcast of the telethon on January 14 by Alexander Musienko, the head of the Center for Military-Legal Studies.
At the same time, he noted that it is unwise to expect that the enemy will be unable to launch "Shaheds."
"We should not make any far-reaching predictions here. I think this is related to seasonality. The year has ended. They have used up all their supplies. Now the new year has begun. Therefore, they are entering it," — Musienko stated.
Moreover, as the expert reminded, Ukraine is constantly searching for warehouses containing both components used for drones and fully assembled drones, and is striking them. However, the production of "Shaheds" in Russia continues.

I do not exclude that there is currently a certain decline. But they are still producing them, so the risks of "Shahed" attacks remain. Statistics indeed show a decrease; however, the enemy still has capabilities to launch these drones, unfortunately," - the expert added.
