The Russian Federation has intensified shelling and sabotage activities in the Kherson region, attempting to advance, according to the regional military administration.
Russian occupiers have ramped up their shelling of the Kherson region and sabotage operations. Enemy groups are trying to establish a foothold in areas controlled by the Defense Forces.
This was stated by the head of the Kherson regional military administration, Oleksandr Prokudin, during a televised marathon.
"We are observing an increase in enemy activity. The Russians have intensified maneuvers with personnel and equipment. They have enhanced fire impact from various sources, particularly through airstrikes using guided bombs on specific routes and settlements," he said.
According to Prokudin, the locations where enemy airborne groups may be deployed are known, and the Defense Forces are prepared to eliminate the enemy.
"The head of the regional military administration emphasized that the enemy's attempts to advance are not isolated incidents. So far, these maneuvers by the Russians have been unsuccessful. There are instances where they have attempted to establish themselves on islands or the right bank. Up until now, none of these attempts have been successful; they have all been neutralized. However, they have such a task. Their command has set the objective for them to capture at least a small part of the right bank of the Kherson region and secure themselves there," Prokudin added.
