By the evening of January 2, 42 tons of vegetable oil had already been pumped out from the Southern Bug River, which spilled due to debris from a drone.
This was reported by the city mayor, Oleksandr Senkevych.
“We also purchased a ton of absorbent. After we collect the spills as much as possible, we will neutralize it with the absorbent. A bulldozer will be working tomorrow to gather the contaminated soil,” he wrote.

Oil leakage occurred onto the adjacent territory and entered the Southern Bug River.
