Ukrenergo added that these restrictions will be lifted after the air raid alert ends and the situation in the energy system stabilizes.

Furthermore, the attack on energy infrastructure was confirmed by Ukraine's Minister of Energy, Herman Halushchenko. He also noted that the gas infrastructure was targeted during the night.

"Another attack on Ukraine's energy system is taking place. During the night, the enemy targeted the gas infrastructure. As of this morning, the energy sector remains under threat. In order to minimize potential consequences for the energy system, the transmission system operator is urgently implementing emergency electricity restrictions. As soon as the security situation allows, the consequences will be clarified," he wrote.
