Deferment from conscription: Zelensky signed the law
On December 31, President Vladimir Zelensky signed bill No. 12104 concerning deferment and demobilization for relatives of those killed or missing in action during the war.
This information is stated in the card of the bill.
According to the documents, the right to deferment is granted to civilians who have been in captivity, as well as the right to exemption for those whose non-blood relatives were killed or went missing during combat operations.
Additionally, President Vladimir Zelensky believes that the levels of mobilization in Ukraine are insufficient. However, he considers it inappropriate to specify an exact number for how many people need to be mobilized.
Previously, the Cabinet of Ministers updated the criteria for deferment from mobilization and the criteria for determining the criticality of enterprises.
