The first female bus driver in the history of the "Mykolaivpastrans" enterprise has begun her work. A resident of the city, she has 40 years of experience driving vehicles.

This was reported in a story by the "Mart" TV channel.

Nonna Kryvoshenko operates on the new extended route No. 79, which runs from the Velam stop to the Varvarivka neighborhood, significantly increasing the number of passengers. The woman shared that she dreamed of becoming a driver since childhood, and she is happy to be able to pursue her passion despite various stereotypes.

- In 1979, I decided to become a driver. I finished school and went to driving school. Since 1984, I have been behind the wheel. I wake up in the morning, and by 5 AM, the bus picks me up. I arrive, and if I didn't wash the bus the night before, I do it then. I take the "route sheet," cash register, and head out, - Nonna Kryvoshenko explained.

The woman emphasized that in the transportation service sector, much depends on the driver – if the driver is good, then the passengers are satisfied. Passengers themselves note that driver Nonna Kryvoshenko is always in a good mood and greets everyone warmly. After all, what matters most to each passenger is not the driver's gender, but that the trip is safe.

At "Mykolaivpastrans," they are confident that Nonna Kryvoshenko is breaking stereotypes and demonstrating through her example that women can successfully work in any field. The management of the enterprise hopes that there will be more female drivers.

- We hope to see more women joining us. That Nonna will inspire other women drivers to come work with us and not be afraid to drive our buses, - said the spokesperson for "Mykolaivpastrans," Kateryna Stokolyas.

As previously reported, the first female driver at "Mykolaivpastrans" began her work after completing an internship.
