The Ministry of Development, in collaboration with the International Bank for Reconstruction and Development, has selected five territorial communities – Mykolaiv, Zaporizhia, Bucha, Izium, and Makariv – where the project "Housing Repair for Restoring Rights and Opportunities of People (HOPE)" will carry out major renovations of apartment buildings damaged as a result of the Russian invasion.
This information is reported by the DREAM platform (State Digital Ecosystem for Recovery Management).
The initial grant funding totaling 12 million dollars will enable the communities to prepare project documentation for further major renovations of apartment buildings.
The "HOPE" project includes funding for the preparation of project documentation and major renovations for clusters of apartment buildings, which will encompass measures for energy efficiency, inclusivity, and improvement of the adjacent territory.
Currently, information on 586 properties has been submitted to form clusters of apartment buildings slated for restoration.
Approximately 160 apartment buildings will be selected for participation in the "HOPE" project.
