Men from the Mykolaiv region paid $6,500 for "online" instructions on how to leave Ukraine
In the Odesa region, Ukrainian border service officers apprehended a group of 10 men who were planning to illegally enter the Transnistrian region of Moldova.
This information was reported by the press service of the state border service.
Using technical border security measures, the violators were detected long before they could cross the border.
According to the border guards, the men found an organizer of illegal border crossings through the Transnistrian segment of the Ukrainian-Moldovan border in a closed Telegram channel. The organizer provided instructions for smooth border crossing in an "online" format. The lack of guarantees for successful passage did not deter the men, and each immediately transferred $6,500 to the organizer's cryptocurrency wallet.
Protocols for administrative offenses under Article 204-1 of the Code of Ukraine on Administrative Offenses, “Illegal crossing or attempt to illegally cross the state border of Ukraine,” have been compiled concerning residents of Mykolaiv, Kharkiv, Dnipropetrovsk, Kyiv, Odesa, and Zaporizhzhia regions, and the cases have been sent to court.
