The Ministry of Defense has developed three versions of the demobilization bill, which include provisions for extended rotations or medical treatment for soldiers lasting from three to five months.

According to reported  by people's deputy and member of the National Security, Defense, and Intelligence Committee, Alexander Fedienko, in a comment to Ukrinform.

The deputy noted that none of these bills explicitly includes the term "demobilization." He stated that the authors envision rotations and treatments with sufficiently lengthy durations.

He added that currently, the defense ministry has developed three versions of the bill, but none of them have yet reached the committee for discussion.

"Despite the fact that the leadership of the Ministry of Defense has noted that they need another three months to develop or refine certain mechanisms, we are waiting for the government to submit the bill to parliament. I would like to remind that the Cabinet of Ministers should have submitted this document a long time ago, according to current legislation, before December 18, 2024. To somehow expedite this process, we, the parliamentarians, are trying to encourage them," - remarked Fedienko.
