A mother rescued six children from a fire in the Mykolaiv region – she has been hospitalized

On the night of Thursday, December 19, a fire broke out in a residential private house in the village of Vladimirovka, part of the Domanevskaya community in the Voznesensk district. There was a woman and six children inside the house.

This was reported by the State Emergency Service of Ukraine in Mykolaiv.

A neighbor called the emergency number "101" to report the fire. A unit from the 14th state firefighting and rescue department arrived at the scene. It was discovered that at the time of the fire, the house was filled with dense smoke. The mother and her six children were inside.

Upon noticing the fire, the woman immediately rushed to lead the children outside. She managed to pass her two sons and four daughters, aged between 4 and 15, to neighbors first and then to their grandparents living in a nearby village. According to a relative, the children were unharmed as a result of the fire.

The mother, while saving her children, inhaled smoke and suffered burns. She was initially in moderate condition. An ambulance team transported her to a local hospital.

The firefighters extinguished the fire, which covered an area of 100 square meters, at 04:50. The likely cause of the fire was a short circuit in the electrical network.
