Law enforcement officials who previously worked in Mykolaiv and the surrounding region, Artem Rodygin and Dmitry Sokolov, have been promoted and now hold positions in the Kyiv administration. Additionally, they have received apartments in elite residential complexes, which they have privatized.

This is discussed in an investigation by journalists from Bihus.Info.

Dmitry Sokolov currently heads one of the departments of the National Police. He managed to secure official housing in the elite residential complex “Slavutych” just one year into his work in Kyiv. By 2022, after two years, he privatized it. A similar three-room apartment in this complex is currently on the market for $130,000. Furthermore, journalists noted that during this period, his family was actively purchasing real estate near Kyiv. In particular, in 2022, Sokolov's mother acquired an apartment in one of the residential complexes in Sofiivska Borshchahivka. In 2024, Sokolov's mother-in-law purchased another apartment in this same complex.

The journalists emphasized that they attempted to contact the law enforcement officer to inquire about the necessity of privatizing official housing and the expensive purchases made by his relatives. However, Dmitry Sokolov initially cited his busy schedule, then requested that they send an official inquiry to the National Police, but as of the video recording, no response had yet been received.

Artem Rodygin was appointed as the Deputy Head of the Kyiv Police in 2021, and by the summer of 2022, he received official housing – a four-room apartment in the “Slavutych” residential complex. A similar apartment in this complex, but with renovations and furniture, is being sold for $220,000. It is noted that this apartment has not yet been privatized. However, an important step has already been taken for this – the apartment has been removed from the list of official housing, which is a mandatory step before privatization.
